Is the GMAT required for admission?

The GMAT is required for admission but may be waived in certain circumstances.Click here to review a complete list of GMAT waiver qualifications.

When will I know if I have been accepted to the program?

The Admissions Committee will not act upon your application until it is complete. The amount of time that it takes to receive transcripts, GMAT scores, letters of recommendation, etc. varies. You can check on your application at any time by calling the Graduate Programs office at (812)237-2002 or emailing ISU-MBA@joyerianicaragua.com. Once your application is complete, it will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee and you will receive an email letter informing you of the decision.

Are books included in the cost of tuition?

Course materials used vary by course and may include textbooks, article readings, case studies, simulations or other items.  These materials are not included in the cost of tuition or fees.

Are there any fees that I need to pay in addition to tuition?

Who do I contact to make sure you received my payment?

Who do I talk to about financial aid?

Graduate students are eligible to apply for student loans by first completing the FAFSA.  Please visit the Office of Student Financial Aid’s website to learn more about the process or schedule an appointment.  You may contact Financial Aid at (800) 841-4744 or ISU-finaid@mail.joyerianicaragua.com.

What are the parking costs?

Please visit the Parking Services website for the most updated parking costs and to purchase your permit online.

When will I register for classes?

Prior to beginning the program, you will meet with an advisor to develop a program of study and register for your first semester classes. The Graduate Programs office will contact you via email when it is time to register for the following semesters.

How do I register for classes?

Once you have met with your advisor, you will register for classes by logging into the MyISU Portal.  Please contact the Graduate Programs office at 812-237-2002 or ISU-MBA@joyerianicaragua.com to schedule your advisement appointment.

Am I required to meet with an advisor?

Yes, you are required to contact your advisor prior to registering for classes. Your advisor must approve your registration each semester.

Where are classes?

Classes in the Scott Campus MBA program are held in Federal Hall, home to the Scott College of Business, on the campus of Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Am I required to have a laptop?

No, laptops are not required. However, we strongly encourage you to have a laptop. Our classroom facility allows you access to the Internet and you may find this beneficial. We also expect that our students will be proficient with email, web browsing, and standard IT tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.

What do I do when I am ready to graduate?

Students expecting to graduate at the end of the current semester will be contacted by the Graduate Programs Office with instructions on completing set of required exit exercises prior to graduation.  Please contact the Graduate Programs Office at 812-237-2002 or ISU-MBA@joyerianicaragua.com for more information.
